The longest active winning streak in softball in the county belongs to Santa Catalina, who wrapped up the MTAL title on Tuesday with its 14th straight win.
Carmel, who won the MTAL baseball title last week, has put together the longest baseball winning streak at 13 and counting going into today's MTAL finale at Pacific Grove.
And dating back to last year, MBL champion Monterey has won 23 straight MBL baseball games.
The longest winning streak of the season belongs to the San Benito softball team, who opened the year with 19 straight wins.
