TCAL girls track

Last year four teams were within a few points of each other going into the final race. It might have been the best championship meet in 30 years.
While defending champion Gilroy is a long shot this year, Salinas, Notre Dame and San Benito are separated by a few precious seconds or inches.
Salinas has an edge in that it didn't lose a dual meet this year. Its meet with Notre Dame was a nailbitter.
The health of Notre Dame has been an issue all spring. Is Nina Anderson healthy enough to resume her reign among distance runners in the CCS? Will she triple?
Lets hope this meet comes down to the 1,600 relay because the Spirits and Salinas have two teams within strides of each other.
