Somewhat lost in North County's dramatic 132-126 win over Monterey at the Monterey Bay League track and field finals was the individual effort of Stephen Dorsey.
The Toreadore junior accounted for 40 points by himself, capturing the 300 low hurdles, high jump, triple jump and long jump.
Dorsey, who was a part of Monterey's TCAL champion volleyball team this spring, will go into Saturday's Central Coast Section track and field trials with the top mark in the high jump at 6-feet-8.
Dorsey elevated himself to third in the CCS in the triple jump with a personal best of 45-2.
