Soledad baseball awarded forfeit win

 The discovery of an ineligible player from Greenfield will force them to forfeit its MTAL win against Soledad.
 As a result, Soledad now sits alone in third place in the MTAL at 10-6 --  one game in front of Pacific Grove.
 Why is this important?
 Because at least three teams from the MTAL have been to the playoffs nine out of the last 10 years.
 With 18 wins, Soledad would seem a lock to make the playoffs. But with games against King City and Stevenson remaining, third place is not a lock.
