On the list of teachers slated to be given a pink slip on Thursday at Monterey Peninsula College is baseball coach Daniel Phillips.
But it doesn't mean Phillips won't be back as the Lobos coach next year. And it certainly does not mean that MPC is going to drop its baseball program.
I expect Phillips to be back next spring for the Lobos.
