Barring a change of heart, Frankie Berlanga is expected to be named the new Soledad football coach tonight at a board meeting.
I'm not interested in politics, rather the well-being of the kids. This program needs stability. It needs a coach that wants to be there long term.
Berlanga and his twin brother Art, both 2001 graduates of Soledad, provide that.
