Ricardo Esparza-Ponce has broken the Mission Trail Athletic League single-season record for 3-point goals.
The Marina junior forward, who came into Tuesday's game needing four to rewrite the mark of 54, knocked down six, giving him 57 in 11 league games. There are still three MTAL games left.
Overall, Esparza-Ponce has 76 3-point goals.
