MPC blew a 14-point second half lead to a team it had previously beaten on the road. It lost its focus at critical times down the stretch, and let a 5-foot-9 guard drop 45 points on them.
The thought was 16 wins would earn an automatic playoff spot. The best the Lobos can do now is win 15 games and hope.
