Albert Pujols

Albert Pujols says he wants to be a St. Louis Cardinal forever.
Then lower your contract demands.
You may be the best player in Major League Baseball. But you are not worth $30 million -- even for one year.
Just because the Yankees overpaid for A-Fraud doesn't mean the Cardinals need to make Pujols the games highest paid player.
What's wrong with $23 million a season over eight years? It's not like the economy is rebounding. Pujols is an icon in St. Louis. Don't let greed ruin your reputation.
