Girls soccer
Unbeaten Salinas will open the Tri-County Athletic League season tonight when it faces Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. at Monterey Peninsula College. Salinas is 7-0-1.
Boys soccer
Two of the more prominent programs in the area will meet in King City when Greenfield visits the Mustangs. I've got to believe the game is at 5:30 p.m. and not 5:30 a.m., as the schedule indicates.
