Only four teams in the nation in Division II women's basketball remain unbeaten and one of them is CSU-Monterey Bay.
Saturday's 63-55 win over Sonoma State moved the Otters to 14-0 overall and 10-0 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
That does not include exhibitions win over Division I UC Santa Barbara and Holy Names.
With road games this week at Stanislaus State and Chico State, the Otters have a shot to be 16-0 when once beaten Cal Poly Ponoma and Cal State, San Bernardino come to town on Jan. 28.
Both teams have just one loss in CCAA this year, falling to CSUMB. In fact, San Bernardino's only setback of the season was to the Otters.
