For the second straight year, Carmel quarterback Devin Pearson was named to Cal-Hi Sports' All-State first team as a multi-purpose player.
Pearson, who threw for over 2,500 yards last fall, was also selected to the All-State Junior third team among all divisions.
Named to the All-State Sophomore first team included Monterey linebacker Shawn Katoa and Palma defensive end Jack Powers, while defensive back Noah Allen was a second team pick.
Named to the Medium School first team were Monterey tailback John-Wyatt Williams, who rushed for over 2,300 yards last year, and Seaside quarterback Ronald Saxton.
King City defensive back Evan Petrovic, who intercepted eight passes last season, was a Small School second team selection.
