Senior Logan Finnell and freshman Anna Romeka became the first doubles team in the history of Monterey County to reach the Central Coast Section tennis finals.
The Stevenson pair stunned top seed Mitty 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 before succumbing in the CCS finals to No. 3 seed Milpitas 6-2, 6-3.
Finnell and Romeka, who didn't pair up until the Mission Trail Athletic League finals, were 6-0 as a doubles team to reach the finals.
