Pacific Grove is off to its traditional slow start on the hardwood, dropping its first two games.
But a look into the past suggests the Breakers will be fine when MTAL play roles around in January.
Over the last four years Pacific Grove, who is 0-2, has started 1-5, 2-5, 2-5, and 1-5. Each year it ran off with no worse than a share of the MTAL title.
Granted, graduation gutted this team. But didn't Pacific Grove lose four starters to injuries last year and go undefeated in the MTAL?
