Southern Mississippi, a Division I program, will face Division II CSU-Monterey Bay today at 2 p.m.
The Golden Eagles, who will visit Cal on Sunday as part of a two-day California road trip, are the first Division I program to come to CSUMB.
A member of Conference USA, Southern Mississippi (6-1) opened the season with six straight wins before falling to Ole Miss.
The Otters (4-2) have already beaten a Division I program earlier this year, stunning Ca Poly, San Luis Obispo on the road.
