Palma
All we heard coming into the season was that seven sophomores were going to get their feet wet for the Chieftains this year. It turned out to be eight sophomores.
People might have misunderstood that as a rebuilding year. That hasn't happened at Palma in 28 years. Why would anyone doubt this program?
The Chieftains went out and posted a 26th league title in 28 years, going unbeaten in the regular season.
The future for Palma arrived a year early. The next two years could be the best teams Palma has ever fielded.
Grade: A.
