Watsonville
What happened to the defending Monterey Bay League co-champions? After gathering a share of its first league title in 15 years, Watsonville dropped its first nine games this fall.
The Wildcatz gave up 72 points to North County. Still, there was progress in a 1-9 season. Watsonville lost three games by five points or less and closed the season with a win.
Grade: D plus.
