Monte Vista
The Mustangs went out and set a single-season school record for wins (7) and a school record for consecutive wins to start the season (6).
What Monte Vista couldn't do is win at home. The Mustangs were 6-0 on the road --- 1-3 at the friendly confines. At one point, it lead in all three losses.
That's how close Monte Vista was to being 10-0.
Grade: B plus.
