Salinas and Carmel will hit the road on Tuesday in the CCS boys water polo playoffs, as will the Stevenson girls team.
Tennis and field hockey playoffs will fill the air. Individual champions from Stevenson, Carmel and Monterey are still alive in tennis, as is the North Salinas field hockey team.
On Wednesday, five volleyball teams will open the postseason with MBL co-champion Seaside and MTAL champion Carmel both getting home matches.
The CCS cross country finals will be held on Saturday at Toro Park.
While most of the playoff spots have been locked up in football, King City and Alvarez are still chasing dreams of extending its seasons.
