Based on ESPNRISE, the York senior will go into Saturday's Division V State championships in Fresno ranked third overall.
He's not the only county athlete ranked in the top 10. CCS Division IV champion James Silvestri of Stevenson is ranked 10th, just ahead of King City's Sam Hales.
As a team, the MTAL and CCS Division IV champion Pirates are ranked eighth while York is ranked seventh Division V.
