Playoff implications

Alvarez may need some help to make the playoffs.
If it gets past Alisal on Thursday, it must root for Monterey to beat Seaside to get that extra point to get in as an at-large entry. Monterey beat Alvarez in Week 2.
A Seaside loss could move them into Division IV, where it could end up as a No. 8 seed and find Carmel as a first round opponent. Wouldn't that be fun.
Of course, these aren't the only scenario's that need to be played out in the final week.
