No intent to hurt opponent

Not once did I ever feel that the tackle on a Seaside player during the Monterey-Seaside game was done to intentionally hurt the player.
You don't want to see a player slammed to the ground. But football is a violent sport. Collisions occur on every play. You can't premeditate a tackle in a split second.
Rather than continue to stir the pot for TV ratings and add fuel to an already intense rivalry, be thankful the kid who got hurt is going to be fine.
