No one has benefited more from the extra week of preparation for Saturday's State Division IV cross country finals than Notre Dame's Nina Anderson.
The junior missed most of the season because of a stress fracture and didn't compete in her first meet until the TCAL finals a month ago.
A seventh place finisher at the state finals last year as a sophomore, Anderson is unranked this year. She's clearly not in the same shape as last year.
But she's also just hitting her stride.
