I can't say I'm surprised by Carmel's 57-14 win, ending King City's run of six straight wins.
Some teams don't match up well. Well, no one in the MTAL matches up with Carmel right now.
With 18 straight MTAL wins, the Padres have locked up their third straight MTAL title.
King City will be in a must win situation next Friday at Greenfield. It's simple. A win and King City is in the playoffs. A loss and its season is over.
