Carmel football

For one year, I'd like to see Carmel in the Monterey Bay League.
How much fun would that be seeing the Padres play in a league that included Monterey, Seaside, North County and Monte Vista?
Because I don't see the fun in building 40 point leads in the third quarter each week in the Mission Trail Athletic League.
Trust me, it's not going to change as long as Carmel quarterback Devin Pearson is around. And he's got one more year.
The problem with the Padres dominance in the MTAL is we're not seeing how talented Pearson is until the postseason rolls around.
You can't run Carmel's offense without a talented and intelligent quarterback. Otherwise more teams would do it.
