The 49ers have been doing this all year, piling up penalties at a record setting pace or just making dumb and undisciplined mistakes.
But it's evident that the players are still playing hard for head coach Mike Singletary.
The shame in all this is the 49ers could be 6-3 instead of 3-6 and running away with the division, no matter who is the quarterback.
