A change in venues

Despite the largest crowd of the year at Friday's Palma-Salinas battle, the atmosphere at the Salinas Sports Complex isn't football friendly.
A Salinas-Palma battle should always be played at Salinas High Stadium. It's the perfect setting for a big game. The stadium fits an equal amount of fans on both sides. It's a better facility with an electric feeling charging through a 75-year-old tunnel onto the field.
It's not a home field advantage for Salinas when the two schools are two blocks part.
