Salinas has won just one game since its rivalry with Palma was renewed 15 years ago. But I still think it's one of the best games of the year.
The two schools are separated by two blocks. It's the largest crowd of any rivalry game all year. The game probably should be played at the end of the year.
Before assuming Palma will make it eight straight over Salinas on Friday at the Sports Complex, keep in mind that the Cowboys are unbeaten on the road this year. And that one win over Palma came at the Sports Complex.
