Can the unbeaten Bruins stop Carmel's high-powered offense on Friday.
In one word: NO.
However, Greenfield has moved the ball on the ground all year behind two returning all-league linemen and 225-pound running back Daniel Breaux.
Remember, last week Carmel's defense allowed three running backs to rush for over 100 yards.
Granted, the stat is a little misleading when you're beating a team 51-14.
But if Greenfield can sustain drives by moving the ball on the ground, it chews up the clock and keeps the Padres offense off the field.
The key for Greenfield is to not give up a big play on the first play of the game. And it has to believe it belongs on the same field as Carmel. That wasn't the case last year.
