I would like to see the Giants go to a four-man rotation for the final week of the season and put Barry Zito in the bullpen.
Zito is a class act. But a playoff spot is at stake. And right now Zito is the fifth best starter in the rotation, and the only starting pitcher that doesn't have a .500 record.
I don't want to hear about his past playoff experience in Oakland. It's not about the pressure of a pennant chase. Zito is not the same hurler he was five years ago.
