Despite 20 seniors on last seasons playoff roster, three of Greenfield's four all-leaguers are back, including 1,000-yard rusher Daniel Breaux.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Breaux is also a demon on defense as a pass rusher, which may limit his carries as the Bruins featured back.
Which means someone else has to step up. Breaux is the only returning back that had more than 10 carries last year.
Two all-league offensive linemen are back in the fold, which is critical to a team that runs the ball 90 percent of the time.
If Greenfield wants to return to the playoffs for a third time in four years, it has to shore up its defense. The Bruins were 0-3-1 when giving up 35 or more points last year.
