Twenty-five years ago, the 49ers drafted receiver Jerry Rice, the Giants selected first baseman Will Clark, the Warriors picked guard Chris Mullin and the A's grabbed future Rookie of the Year shortstop Watt Weiss.
As for the Raiders. Well, nothing has changed, other than they were in L.A. in 1985. They selected some speed demon receiver named Jessie Hester, who never really panned out.
A few other notable draft picks that glorious year included Barry Bonds and Monterey's Pete Incaviglia, as well as future NBA Hall of Famers Patrick Ewing and Karl Malone.
