Marina High has a new head football coach.
The good news is the program can finally push forward.
The concern I would have is Marina has roughly four weeks to get a group of players prepared to move from eight-man football to 11-man football.
The Mariners are moving into the Mission Trail Athletic League with a lot of uncertainly.
What offense can a new coach put together in such a short time? Will the program have more than 20 players on the roster? Are they ready for the move?

I think Marina will take its bumps next season, but probably doesn't end up at bottom and maybe middle of the pack. Watch for them to be pretty competive in the MTAL a couple years.
