What do we know about Soledad?
Not a lot, other than the fact that the football program has one league win in the last three years and is on its fourth coach in four years.
That being said, I like the hiring of Rodney Starr, a young and energetic coach with a lot of knowledge and understanding of the job that lies in front of him.
And for the first time in perhaps the schools 10-year history, administration seems in full support of athletes.
That's critical in Soledad turning all of its programs around. The athletes are on campus. But you have to have a support system, and that begins at the top.
Soledad is not going to win a league title. But the program is pointed in the right direction. And it does have a win from last year to build off of.
