Herald has worked under former Notre Dame coach Paul Elliott for the last two years and shares a lot of his believes.
Plus she inherits a team that returns eight players from last years TCAL title team. Herald is also a Notre Dame product, having played volleyball and basketball when she was known as Katie Given.
