Coaches on the hot seat

Here we go again.
Apparently there are some disgruntled parents at Carmel, seeking to remove track coach John Ables.
Lets see, the man has won 48 league titles between cross country and track and field over 18 years.
Yeah, I know. Winning isn't everything.
Alright. How about this? Ables has built lasting relationships with most of his athletes, past and current, that goes beyond track. His athletes believe in him, trust him and have bought into his beliefs.
You can't run from success.
Ables is opinionated. And that doesn't always bold well with parents. But he's honest. And ask yourself. Has he done anything to hurt your kid?
