College swimmers

 Ten former swimmers from the Seaside Aquatic Club are taking part this weekend in their respective college conference championship swimming meets.
 Among this is Salinas graduate Nic Clark, who will swim in the 50, 100 and 200 frees for Cal Poly at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships.
  The sophomore, who won a handful of Monterey Bay League titles during his tenure with Salinas,  placed in the CIF State swimming championships two years ago.
  Monterey graduate Parker Costa will compete in the 200, 500 and 1,650 frees this weekend for the University of Hawaii at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation finals.
 Former prep teammate Noah Gomes is swimming for Colorado School of the Mines in the 50, 100 and 200 frees at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference finals.
 Sophomore Paul Cieri, who prepped at Trinity Christian, will compete in the 200, 500 and 1,650 frees for Albright College at the Mid Atlantic Conference championships.
 Pacific Grove product Jackson Klarsfeld is competing in the  200 and 400 IM's for Marist College at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference finals as a true freshman.
 One-time Palma swimming standout Austin Hussain is taking part in the 50, 100 and 200 frees for Fresno Pacific at the Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference finals.
 Iain Anderson, who swam for Monterey Peninsula College, is competing today in the 100 and 200 frees and 400 IM for Ohio Wesleyan  in the North Coast Athletic Conference finals.
 Senior Ally Short, a Monterey High grad, will swim in the 100 free and 100 back this weekend for Fresno State in the Mountain West Conference finals.
 Former prep teammate Shannon Cry is competing in perhaps her final collegiate meet in the 50 and 100 frees, and 100 back for Connecticut College in the New England Athletic Conference finals.
