Trinity-East Palo Alto Academy football

Saturday's game
Trinity (2-4) vs. East Palo Alto Phoenix Academy (0-6) at McNair High, 1 p.m.
It's been a struggle establishing a program at East Palo Alto, as it's winless this fall and is 4-28 since creating a program five years ago.
In its last five games, East Palo Alto has been outscored 538-14. It is allowing 68 points a game. It has never beaten Trinity, falling 54-8 last fall.
The Warriors game last week with Cornerstone Christian was canceled because its opponent hadn't been able to practice all week from the fires and air quality in Northern California.
Trinity has lead or been tied in the second half in five of its six games, falling to hold a 16-point lead in one game and an eight point cushion in another.
Christopher Wright has played most of the season with a broken hand, leading Trinity in rushing and touchdowns while Will Hankard has tossed eight touchdown passes.
In the Warriors two wins, opponents are averaging just 14 points a game. But in their four losses, the figure increases to 49 points a game.
