Stevenson-San Lorenzo Valley football

Saturday's game
Stevenson (2-3) at San Lorenzo Valley (3-4), 2 p.m.
The Pirates were held scoreless for the first time all year while San Lorenzo Valley has dropped four of its last five games.
Turnovers have been a thorn in the Cougars side the last two games as they have had 10, creating a minus five turnover ratio.
Julian Auldridge has at least one touchdown catch in five of San Lorenzo Valley's seven games this season. Last week he returned a kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown.
Slow starts have forced the Pirates to play from behind as they have been outscored 71-12 in the first quarter. SLV has outscored opponents 81-31 in the second quarter.
Ben Mudd has been durable for Stevenson, having rushed for five touchdowns while compiling four sacks on defense.
It's been an odd season for the Pirates, who didn't have a coach until six weeks before the start of the season, are playing an eight-game schedule, and are having their facility torn up in mid-season.
