Marina-Harbor football

Saturday's game
Marina (2-5) at Harbor (1-6), 2 p.m.
The Mariners are coming off the second highest scoring output in their eight year existence, erupting for 47 points in snapping a five-game losing streak.
The single-game school record for points came in 2015 when Marina manufactured 57 in a win over Harbor.
The Pirates struggles during a six-game losing streak start with a defense that is allowing 48 points a game, having been outscored 115-14 in the first quarter.
Bailey Schantz is someone the Mariners need to be aware of as the Harbor quarterback has rushed for nearly 1,200 yards, accounting for all 14 touchdowns this season -- nine rushing.
Scaling down the offense last week helped Marina snap a school record 13-quarter scoreless drought, as it rushed for nearly 300 yards behind Will Leander and Fermin Gabot.
A mark of stability all fall has been the Mariners defense, anchored by Kefu Keander, Ernie Guevara and Ronnie Patterson.
Marina has won the last two meetings between the two programs.
