MPC-Hartnell men's hoops

It hasn't been the season either the Lobos or Hartnell envisioned when the year began four months ago.
Yet, closing the season with a win is a building block for next season.
Since opening the conference season with two straight wins, the Panthers have dropped nine straight, including a 97-90 loss to MPC on Jan. 25.
Hartnell has dropped four conference games by three points or less.
Having an all freshmen team this winter, the Lobos are 6-5 in conference, but just 2-3 on the road.
Marcus Wallace and Deshawnte Collins are both averaging double figures for MPC, with Wallace dropping in 12.8 points a game. Elijah Nesbit is fourth in the state in assists at 6.8 assists.
Sophomore Riley Knowles has carried the offense for Hartnell at 15.1 points a game while Alisal grad Jesus Salinas is averaging 9.2 points.
