Marina-King City football

Friday's game
Marina (0-3) at King City (1-2), 7:30 p.m.
The Mustangs will be at full strength for the first time all year. The question is who will quarterback them?
Moving quarterback Chase Barbree to a tight end/halfback position two weeks ago as an experiment created a new look and forced teams to stop doubling receiver Dominic Rose.
Barbree's first catch was a touchdown. His presence in the backfield as a lead blocker helped Wacey Barrington pile up 121 yards in his debut.
Of course, you can't do this without another quarterback and King City has one in Jacob Flores, who has two touchdown passes in two games.
Marina produced its first points of the season in a loss two weeks ago, but it came from the defense when Xavier Schwener returned a fumble 94 yards.
The offensive line has got to create some openings for the school's all-time leading rusher in tailback Anthony Silva, who has been bottled up this fall.
