Libero Brittany Lombardi has been named a Daktronics West Region second team all-star for the UC San Diego volleyball team.
Lombardi, who prepped at Carmel High, established a new school record for digs with 603. She closed her career at San Diego with 1,149 digs — sixth all time.
The senior led the California Collegiate Athletic Association in digs and is ranked 35th in the nation at 5.20 digs per set.
