MTAL baseball

Carmel's Devin Pearson was named the Mission Trail Athletic League's Most Valuable Player while Stevenson's Tucker Forbes was chosen Pitcher of the Year.
 Pearson, who currently has a 19-game hitting streak, was also named the MTAL Player of the Year in football last fall. Forbes was the MTAL Player of the Year in basketball.
 Also chosen to the first team from the MTAL champion Padres were Tyler Knight, Zack Schneider, Matt Rudolph and Dominic Bifano.
 Selected from Stevenson included three-time all-leaguer Nick Halamandaris and Chris Jaeger. Pacific Grove's Wes Carswell and Kyle Czaplak were first team selections as well.
 Rounding out the first team were Soledad's AJ  Banuelos, Ivan Sanchez and Eddie Farfan, King City's Nick Sinclair and Branson Umbarger and Greenfield's Sergio Castro.
