CCS track finals

Distance ace Francisco Salvador of Alisal is entered in both the 1,600 and 800 for Friday's CCS finals.
That tells me he believes the 1,600 is his best event, since it comes first.
 And it is.
 Three of the top individuals in the metric mile are not entered, choosing to focus on the 3,200.
 That vaults Salvador to third overall.
 However, that third spot to the state meet may come down to Salvador and King City's Sam Hales, who once again is hitting his stride in May.
